How can I prep my skin for it?

Keep your skin exfoliated and moisturized! It’s also best not to drink or take blood-thinning medications/supplements prior to microblading as this will cause an increased level of bleeding throughout the procedure. Coming in with makeup is optional but not recommended as you will be restricted from getting water on the procedural area for the first 24hrs.

What if my skin is oily. Is Microblading for all skin types?

People with oily skin are still great microblading candidates, however, the lines may blur out and become a little thicker as well as fade out a little faster than average. Of course, it will still look better than nothing!

Why do some brows fade to Red or even Grey?

Simply put, “brown” is not a “real color” on the color wheel. Brown is made of Red, Black, and Yellow. Yellow fades first, leaving Red and Black. Some factors that affect this result are dominance of either Red or Black in the pigment, the client’s skin tone, and the ingredients of the pigments. Maintaining color refreshes are necessary in Microblading just as in permanent makeup.
